The Vault Uptown
Great food and great views! Try the trash can nachos. Make a reservation.
Located two miles from the house in Uptown Sedona.
Vespa Italian Cafè
A family-owned Italian cafè featuring locally sourced, organic ingredients. Try their delicious pizza or Cacciatore! A very short walk from the house.
Located 1/4 mile from the house, on the other side of 89A.
Open Range Grill & Tavern
Contemporary American food with an outdoor patio and amazing views! Bring an appetite and try their BBQ Ribs or Sizzling Fajitas.
Located two miles from the house in Uptown Sedona.
Elote Cafe
Award-winning modern Mexican restaurant. Definitely order elote as an appetizer! Must have a reservation, and make it way in advance.

Cowboy Club Grille & Spirits
Delicious food in a historic location in Uptown! Try the Bison Chili or Cast Iron Cornbread.
Located two miles from the house in Uptown Sedona.
The Hudson
A great restaurant with a lot of variety on the menu. Awesome outdoor seating with views. You’ll want to make a reservation ahead of time.
Located 2.2 miles from the house, past the roundabout at AZ State Route 179.
Pump House Station
This could become your favorite place for breakfast or lunch. Located across the street from Tlaquepaque Village. Enjoy a delicious meal outside under the shade trees. Voted Best Lunch Spot in Sedona in 2020.
Located 1.7 miles from the house, past the roundabout at AZ State Route 179.
Mesa Grill
Located atop the Sedona area, the Mesa Grill is a hidden gem that’s open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fresh Southwest cuisine and featuring panoramic views of the Sedona red rocks. Reservations are suggested.
1.7 miles to the south heading up the hill behind the house. No traffic and no stop lights on your way there.
Trails
Soldier Pass

Very popular trail with great views of Thunder Mountain. Soldier Pass Cave has an optional trail leading to it for those that like to explore more. Limited parking at trailhead. Free Park & Ride shuttle available Thursday-Sunday (sedonashuttle.com).
The trailhead is located 2.3 miles from the house.
Hangover

Another popular trail, and can be a little less traveled during certain times of the year and times of the week. It attracts both hikers and mountain bikers for the views and trail design.
The parking lot for the trailhead is located 2.8 miles from the house. Look for Munds Wagon Trail to get you to Hangover Trail.
Boynton Canyon

This out-and-back hiking trail features both open canyon views as well as a canopy of trees. And for the adventurous hikers, there’s an opportunity to visit the Subway Cave by taking an adjoining trail with a short climb. There’s also historic Native American dwellings along the canyon walls. Remember to Leave No Trace!
The parking lot for the trailhead is 6.6 miles from the house.
Cathedral Rock

As one of the most identifiable rock formations in the area, Cathedral Rock represents the Sedona landscape everywhere in photography, paintings and artwork. Enjoy this short and scenic hike year round. Parking for the trailhead is limited. Free Park & Ride shuttle is available Thursday-Sunday (sedonashuttle.com).

Bell Rock

A suitable name for the view of this famous formation. A good hike for the whole family.

Devil’s Bridge

Possibly the most popular outdoor spot in the Sedona area, Devil’s Bridge is a beautiful sight. This trail can be very busy and parking can be challenging at certain times of the year and times of the week. You have a few trails to choose from, and we suggest the longer, more scenic one using the Chuck Wagon Trail. There’s a short challenging climb as you get close to the end of the trail leading to the natural bridge.

West Fork

This hiking trail navigates along the Oak Creek in a unique and amazing combination of sheer canyon walls and forrest. The tall canyon provides shade for most of the day, and is ideal for summer days and warmer months. While the trailhead has a parking lot, it’s strictly limited once the lot is full.
The trailhead parking lot is 12.2 miles from the house, traveling north from Uptown Sedona on 89A.
Bear Mountain

A challenging trail with panoramic views as you ascend above the Verde Valley. Be prepared for a good workout.
The trailhead is 7.7 miles from the house.

Uptown Mall Plaza
The Uptown Sedona outdoor plaza features dozens of shops, including restaurants, boutique stores, art galleries and more. There’s something for everyone in Uptown. Located on 89A just north of the roundabout intersection for Highway 179.

Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village
Beautiful village with architecture inspired by Old Mexico. The area features shops and galleries. A great place to see the art of Sedona. Located on just south of the roundabout intersection for Highway 179.

Sedona Airport
One of the best places to see Sedona. Don’t miss the panoramic views from multiple locations, including the scenic overlook. Also a great spot for a meal at the Mesa Grill.

Chapel of the Holy Cross
Built into the red rock buttes, the Chapel of the Holy Cross is an historic place of worship featuring award-winning architecture. It’s beautiful design has attracted people from all over the world. The construction features a 90 foot tall iron cross that serves as both a symbolic and structural element of the chapel.

Verde Canyon Railroad
An historic 4 hour train ride experiencing the natural beauty of Sycamore Canyon. Throughout the year, they host several themed events that provide different seasonal experiences.
The train station is 21.6 miles from the house.
Red Rock Balloons
Experience Sedona gliding over the natural beauty of the landscape. Enjoy the stunning scenery in an unforgettable hot air balloon ride.
